Actions you choose and dialogue options felt weighty. Controls and gameplay are very similar to Telltale games like Walking Dead, Batman, and Wolf Among Us. Reminded me very much of Kurt Vonnegut's concept of time, how we are all experiencing many times at once and versions of ourselves simultaneously. From the start it is an emotionally deep game and for me pulled me in and made me think of my own life the nature of memories, choices I have made which live on (good or bad) and remain forever static and yet dynamic, and the way we all keep going despite the wheel which keeps churning. It's an indie studio and $20 is pretty standard for a price point and a typical playthrough would also be 7-9 hours which to me is fair. It is by no means perfect but it's easily a high 8 to a 9 out of 10. $10-30, it fits right I don't write reviews unless I believe a game is worth an attaboy nor would I review bomb something just because it's not for me. The writing, the emotional resonance, the mysterious world building (reminded me of Disco Elysium), the dueling senses of both calm and dread. It may only be 3 hours long, but its the most interesting 3 hours of I'm a gamer of some 40 years, and this is honestly one of the most moving game experiences I've had in memory.
